From Downtown Knoxville, TN:

Follow I-75 North, towards Lexington, KY to Exit 122 TN-61 (Clinton/Norris Exit). Turn right at the exit onto TN-61E, the Museum of Appalachia is located on the left approximately 1 mile from the exit. (Total travel time, approximately 20 minutes)

From Oak Ridge, TN:

Follow the Oak Ridge Turnpike (East), as you exit Oak Ridge the Turnpike becomes TN-61E. Follow TN-61E through Clinton, TN, driving for about 12 miles.  The Museum of Appalachia is located on the left. (Total travel time, approximately 20 minutes)

From Nashville, TN:

Follow I-40 East towards Knoxville. In Knoxville, take the I-640 West/US 25-E Exit (towards Lexington). Take the I-75 North Exit and continue towards Lexington, KY to Exit 122 TN-61 (Clinton/Norris Exit). Turn right at exit onto TN-61E, the Museum of Appalachia is located on the left, approximately 1 mile from the exit. (Total travel time, approximately 3 hours)

From Lexington, KY:

Follow I-75 South towards Knoxville to Exit 122 TN-61 (Clinton/Norris Exit). Turn left at exit onto TN-61E, the Museum of Appalachia is located on the left approximately 1 mile from the exit. (Total travel time, approximately 2.5 hours)

From Asheville, NC:

Follow I-40W towards Canton/Knoxville, take Exit 393 to I-640 W/US-25W towards I-75 North/Lexington. Continue onto I-75 North and drive 14 miles to Exit 122 TN-61 (Clinton/Norris Exit). Turn right at exit onto TN-61E, the Museum of Appalachia is located on the left, approximately 1 mile from the exit. (Total travel time, approximately 2 hours)
