A fiddle of standard size in a rich honey-colored wood. The headstock has a carving of a man with a black hat atop. The back side has a handwritten inscription that reads: " 'The wood in this fiddle was salvaged from the home and birthplace of the late George D. hay of Attica, Indiana, the founder of the 'Grand Ole Opry'.Nashville, Tenn. hand carved by Don Douglas Sr. 1992, Veedersburg, Ind." |
